About Us
This initiative sits at the intersection of two often conflicting goals*:
-
Practical, timely support — sharing STEAM educational resources that can be useful to local educators*, offering them free Zoom English tutorials, mentorship, and project supervisions that directly empower individuals in Gaza now
-
Academic research — empower all of our unpaid volunteers, especially researchers who need to produce peer-reviewed publications in order to advance their academic careers. For the work to be mutually rewarding, it will align with academic incentives while maintaining ethical integrity.
*We are currently connected with an active WhatsApp community of educators and learners in Gaza and the West Bank
Given the limited volunteer hours, we aim for efforts that are intentionally designed to be manageable, sustainable, and discreet.
